Product Specialist – Artificial Intelligence & Data Platforms

Job Summary

An Outside Sales Product Specialist responsible for selling Dell’s AI infrastructure solutions, agentic AI platforms and AI services. You will provide technical expertise to customers and the sales organization, advising on AI platform architectures, model-serving configurations, and consumption models.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with senior technical personnel and decision makers including Chief Data Officers, Heads of AI, enterprise architects and platform owners
• Demonstrate the value of AI platform and agentic AI technologies to drive measurable customer business outcomes
• Provide thought leadership and technical insight on complex AI, data platform and inference technologies, including sovereign and on-premises deployment models
• Serve as a technical resource for the sales organization to help achieve AI portfolio objectives
• Proactively identify and solve customer business needs by designing production-grade AI solutions using Dell’s AI Factory portfolio, partner AI software stack and professional services
• Advise customers on model-serving architectures, accelerated compute configurations, consumption models, pricing and availability

Must haves

• Advanced knowledge of AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, AI software ecosystems and adjacent technology domains
• Ability to position and scope professional services across model training, fine-tuning, inference and agentic orchestration use cases
• Strong understanding of AI platform architectures and data pipeline configurations, including GPU sizing, storage and networking dependencies
• Ability to translate customer technical requirements into services scope, delivery assumptions and implementation outcomes
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills to engage credibly with customers, delivery teams, technical specialists, support personnel and executive leadership

Nice to haves

• 8 to 12 years of related experience in a relationship selling role with exposure to AI, data platform or analytics solution sales
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
