Principal Solutions Architect, AWS, Public Sector MENAT

Job Summary

AWS is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to serve as a strategic technical leader for enterprise customers in the public sector. You will provide architectural guidance, drive cloud adoption, and help organizations migrate workloads to AWS while building deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance and recommendations to promote and accelerate customer adoption of AWS services
• Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create solutions built on AWS
• Educate customers and partners on the value proposition of AWS and act as an AWS evangelist
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers and partners to enable cloud advocacy
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications including white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts
• Formulate and execute sales strategy in partnership with sales and partner teams to exceed revenue objectives
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS
• Act as technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support

Must haves

• 10+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, and publications

• Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation
• Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management
• Knowledge of database design and implementation
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
• Saudi National status
