Pricing Strategist

Job Summary

The Pricing Strategist will lead strategic pricing initiatives across multiple MEETA countries, aligning pricing strategies with business goals and market conditions. The role involves deploying pricing strategies, supporting key customer proposals, analyzing pricing data, and driving AI-powered automation in pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement complex strategic pricing operations end-to-end, including strategy development, price setting, governance, and tool maintenance aligned with business strategy.
• Maintain and evolve pricing science, data models, tools, and processes to support strategic pricing foundations.
• Lead strategic pricing aspects of large cross-functional customer request for proposal processes, incorporating market dynamics and value-based pricing principles.
• Educate and influence stakeholders on market conditions, economic value assessments, and pricing strategies through complex analysis and strategic communication.
• Support change management initiatives to foster a value-based pricing culture within the organization.
• Manage complex issues independently with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven success in identifying margin improvement opportunities through pricing.
• Experience with trade promotion, retail performance, and profitability analysis.
• Experience using data analysis tools.
• At least four years of related work experience.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Experience with AI-powered automation of operational pricing processes.
• Background in Feed, Premix, Additives, or Pharma business.
