Power BI Developer (Healthcare Industry)

Job Summary

This role involves developing and optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards specifically for healthcare data. The developer will work with healthcare data sources and Azure cloud tools to deliver technical solutions that meet healthcare organizations’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced Power BI skills including Desktop, Service, DAX, and Power Query to build reports and dashboards.
• Apply best practices in dashboard design for user-friendly and intuitive interfaces.
• Create dynamic, real-time reports using healthcare-related data sources such as EHR and hospital management systems.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large healthcare datasets.
• Work with Azure Cloud tools including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Utilize Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, and other Azure analytics tools.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions tailored to healthcare organizations.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI (Desktop, Service), DAX, and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills including complex query writing and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure Cloud tools: Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, and related analytics tools.
• Experience in healthcare analytics or knowledge of healthcare KPIs such as patient outcomes and clinical data analytics.
