Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Design and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms that enable engineering teams to efficiently develop, deploy, operate, and monitor enterprise applications and digital services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable platform architecture and engineering solutions
• Define platform engineering standards, patterns, and technical practices
• Develop and enhance infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities
• Design and optimize CI/CD platforms, deployment pipelines, and developer tooling
• Drive containerization, orchestration, cloud, and platform automation practices
• Ensure platform security, resilience, availability, scalability, and performance
• Lead technical resolution of complex platform and infrastructure issues
• Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure
• Expert hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS Cloud in production environments
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CI/CD automation
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, security, and cloud architecture
• Proven experience designing and supporting highly available, scalable, and resilient platforms
• Strong experience with monitoring, observability, incident management, and production troubleshooting
• Experience in Banking, FinTech, or Payment environments is highly preferred
• Good understanding of PCI-DSS and security/compliance requirements
