Platform / Administration Lead (Informatica, MinIO, Denodo & Linux)

Job Summary

The Platform / Administration Lead will manage the deployment, configuration, optimization, and administration of enterprise data infrastructure, focusing on Informatica, MinIO, Denodo, and Linux environments to ensure system stability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, clustering, and upgrades for Informatica, MinIO object storage, and Denodo Data Virtualization platforms.
• Administer and optimize Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) to maintain high availability and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues including memory, CPU, network latency, and connectivity problems.
• Implement and maintain identity and access management, SSL/TLS certificates, firewall rules, LDAP/Active Directory integration, and encryption.
• Create automation scripts using Bash or Python for deployments and maintenance tasks; set up monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Design, test, and execute backup, replication, and disaster recovery plans for platform metadata, object storage, and integration nodes.

Requirements

• Expertise in Linux system administration including kernel tuning, storage management (LVM/NFS), and network troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, netstat, iptables).
• Hands-on experience with Denodo Data Virtualization platform installation, configuration, clustering, and administration.
• Experience deploying and managing distributed MinIO object storage with erasure coding, bucket policies, and S3 API integration.
• Knowledge of Informatica installation, configuration, and administration including PowerCenter or IICS Secure Agent nodes.
• Understanding of enterprise networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, load balancers, and reverse proxies like NGINX or HAProxy, plus SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise platform administration or related roles.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting data integration, virtualization, or large-scale storage environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams.

Nice to haves

• Certifications in Red Hat Linux (RHCE), Denodo Administration, or cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating platforms with enterprise monitoring and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
