Job Summary
The Regional Partner PTM develops technical capability of partners in the region to position, sell, and deliver Splunk + Cisco solutions. The role focuses on building partner solutions, capabilities, and practices aligned to Splunk + Cisco use cases, enabling partners to deliver differentiated offerings while driving measurable business outcomes including revenue growth, services expansion, and customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of partner-led solutions and capabilities aligned to Splunk + Cisco priorities, analyzing partner customer base and market positioning to identify high-value use cases.
- Co-develop repeatable, scalable solutions with partners addressing security, observability, and platform domains, ensuring alignment to Splunk + Cisco architectures and data strategies.
- Own end-to-end planning for competency development across managed partners, delivering technical enablement, coaching, and workshops across Splunk domains.
- Create and grow a regional partner technical community through enablement sessions, workshops, roundtables, and knowledge-sharing forums to drive capability uplift.
- Identify, shape, and advance partner-influenced opportunities through structured technical discovery, coaching partner pre-sales teams on architecture and proposals.
- Create, develop, and consistently update Partner Intelligence documents (Technical Scorecards and Plans) showing capability maturity, skill sets, program alignment, and growth trajectory.
- Act as technical bridge between Splunk internal teams and partner technical stakeholders, ensuring consistency with GTM messaging and architectural guidance.
- Track opportunity progression, remove technical blockers in high-priority deals, and align with Partner Account Managers on quarterly pipeline goals and opportunity qualification.
Requirements
- Experience developing technical capability and solutions for partner ecosystems.
- Knowledge of security, observability, and platform use cases and architectures.
- Ability to conduct architecture reviews and validate solution designs.
- Experience building and sustaining technical communities and enabling partner practitioners.
- Strong planning and reporting capabilities aligned to business outcomes and revenue goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Partner Sales Managers (PSMs) and Partner Development Managers (PDMs).
- Experience in opportunity qualification, deal acceleration, and technical discovery processes.
- Capability to develop repeatable service offerings and practices for partners.
