Oracle ERP Developer

Job Summary

The Oracle ERP Application Developer will design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2.x) applications. The role requires strong technical skills in Oracle ERP, Oracle APEX, and Oracle OAF, along with advanced PL/SQL and integration knowledge, while collaborating with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Oracle ERP (R12.2.x) components using Oracle APEX, Oracle OAF, Oracle Forms, Reports (10g/12c), BI Publisher, and Oracle Workflow Builder
• Create and maintain PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, APIs, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions (RICE), and custom concurrent programs
• Provide technical support for key Oracle ERP modules including Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA), Supply Chain (PO, INV, OM), and HRMS/Payroll
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions; support patching, cloning, and maintenance tasks during R12.2 online patching (adop)
• Develop integrations using REST/SOAP web services, Oracle public APIs, and Interface tables for secure data exchange with external systems
• Conduct PL/SQL optimization and tuning; perform code reviews and ensure compliance with EBS development standards
• Prepare technical documents including MD050, MD070, TE020, and deployment guides
• Mentor junior developers, work closely with functional consultants and technical teams, and participate in system design and architecture discussions

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle ERP application development (R12.1/R12.2)
• Advanced development experience with Oracle APEX
• Oracle OAF customizations and extensions expertise
• Expert-level PL/SQL skills
• Strong experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x, including online patching; understanding of EBS architecture, file system, patches, and adop cycles

Nice to haves

• Knowledge of Oracle SOA, Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP API integration, and Oracle ADF
• Experience with version control (Git/SVN)
• Experience working in Agile environments
