Observability Engineer Intern

Job Summary

Support the engineering team in monitoring and improving the reliability and performance of applications and infrastructure. Gain hands-on experience with observability tools, monitoring practices, and troubleshooting in a real-world technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor applications, servers, and infrastructure.
• Collect and analyze logs, metrics, and traces.
• Create and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts.
• Investigate system issues and identify potential root causes.
• Support performance monitoring and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Automate monitoring and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on observability and system reliability activities.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cloud, Linux, networking, or DevOps concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a technical, hands-on environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring or observability tools is a plus.
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python or Bash) is preferred.
