Mid-Level Software Developer

Job Summary

The Mid-Level Software Developer will work full-time on-site in Amman to develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and system integrations supporting ERP and e-commerce operations. The role involves collaborating with technical and project teams to deliver software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications, backend services, and APIs.
• Create integrations between ERP, e-commerce, and third-party platforms.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Identify and fix bugs and production issues.
• Work with databases and enhance application performance.
• Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and testing activities.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and project management teams.
• Document technical decisions, APIs, and completed features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and software design principles.
• Experience with backend development and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Available to work full-time on-site in Amman.

Nice to haves

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Frappe Framework or ERPNext.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Knowledge of Docker, Linux servers, and deployment workflows.
• Experience building integrations or business automation systems.
• Understanding of inventory, order management, or warehouse operations.
