Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Summary

The Mechanical Project Engineer oversees mechanical components of construction projects from planning to completion, working both onsite and remotely in Amman and other Jordanian sites.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs and specifications.
• Prepare and update CAD drawings for mechanical and MEP systems.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Plan project activities and monitor timelines and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports and collaborate with teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits and address technical issues.
• Support quality control and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Project Engineering principles.
• Proficiency in CAD tools for mechanical and MEP drawings.
• Experience with mechanical and MEP systems in infrastructure, pumping stations, and treatment plant projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with English proficiency.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment including onsite and remote coordination.
