Job Summary
Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimation for HVAC and plumbing systems on US-based projects. Analyze mechanical drawings, select materials and components, and support tendering and pre-construction activities using estimation software and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quantity takeoffs for HVAC duct and pipe systems, plumbing systems, and associated accessories
- Develop accurate cost estimates using the company’s estimation software
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications
- Determine material selection, connections, and system components
- Perform calculations and reporting using Excel
- Support tendering and pre-construction phases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical estimation for both HVAC and plumbing
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Experience with takeoff and estimation software
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Fluent English
