Job Summary
Manage and develop applications on the OpenText Liferay Platform, handling system administration, configuration, deployment, and Java-based application development. Provide technical support and collaborate with teams to implement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage OpenText Liferay Platform and its components at an administrative level
- Install CARS, OTDS and Liferay Platform
- Perform system configuration, backup and restore operations on Liferay Platform
- Create and assign users to roles and teams
- Implement and test web services and SOA grid in Liferay Platform
- Design, create and implement Java-based applications with user interfaces, forms and layouts
- Deploy and launch applications to Liferay Platform
- Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues and collaborate with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Java-based programming
- Certification in coding (preferred)
