Lead Technical Architect (LTA) | Temenos Transact/T24

Job Summary

The Lead Technical Architect (LTA) for Temenos Transact/T24 is responsible for designing and managing the complete technical architecture of Temenos Transact/T24 implementations. This role involves leading solution design, ensuring technical alignment, and supporting development and integration efforts on-site in Amman.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Oversee end-to-end technical architecture for Temenos Transact/T24 and related banking solutions.
• Guide development teams, review technical designs and code quality.
• Provide hands-on support for complex integrations and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor stakeholders to manage technical risks and ensure best practices.
• Ensure security, reliability, and maintainability standards are met.
• Mentor team members and contribute to architectural governance.
• Support pre-sales and technical proposal activities when required.

Requirements

• Strong skills in Technical Architecture with experience designing complex, scalable, and secure banking solutions.
• Expertise in Solution Architecture including requirements analysis and mapping business processes to Temenos Transact/T24.
• Hands-on Software Development experience with relevant programming languages and Temenos frameworks.
• Integration skills involving API, middleware, and interface design between Temenos and external systems.
• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture standards, patterns, governance, and alignment with technology strategies.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in core banking systems with direct Temenos Transact/T24 implementation or upgrade experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to lead technical discussions across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services or FinTech sector in the MENA region is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; advanced architecture or Temenos certifications are a plus.
