Lead MEP Site Engineer

Job Summary

Lead MEP Site Engineer responsible for construction, commissioning and site operations from mobilization through civil works, assembly and startup. Oversees installation and construction activities on client sites, exercising autonomy within standard functional practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and construction operations on site, including civil installation, assembly, and mechanical/electrical installation activities
• Lead other personnel directly or indirectly and manage subcontractors with specific technical expertise
• Develop deep knowledge of technical discipline and implement policy and strategy based on prior experience and acquired technical expertise
• Understand key operational factors and how team work integrates with other teams and contributes to the broader domain
• Exercise judgment to propose different solutions within defined parameters and resolve problems using technical skills and analytical abilities
• Provide informal guidance to new team members and demonstrate proven interpersonal skills
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and identify problems effectively
• Use multiple internal sources to inform decision-making

Requirements

• Significant experience in the function and relevant work area
• Knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or bachelor’s degree with experience in a relevant field
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong relationship and leadership skills with ability to influence others and lead small teams
• Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
• Effective problem identification and problem-solving skills
• Proven analytical and organizational capabilities
