IT Infrastructure System Associate

Job Summary

An IT Infrastructure Systems Associate role providing first and second-level technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with server maintenance activities in Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first and second-level IT support via phone, email, chat, or in-person
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues including Windows, macOS, and Office 365
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including user management, permissions, backups, and updates
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in Windows server environments
• Document IT incidents and resolutions in ticketing systems such as Workflow or K2
• Provide network troubleshooting support for LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects and user education on IT best practices

Must haves

• 1-3 years of experience in system administration or IT support
• Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), AD Connect, and Linux OS administration
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Nice to haves

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux servers
• Knowledge of Group Policies, PowerShell commands, Office 365 administration, ticketing systems, and ITIL processes
• Experience with remote desktop support tools including SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and RDP
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls
