About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue targets and sales quotas by engaging with new and existing clients.
- Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions to enhance their experience.
- Prepare and process quotes accurately and in a timely manner in line with company policies.
- Maintain regular communication with assigned clients to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Negotiate pricing and volume discounts while adhering to company guidelines.
- Collaborate with Technical Support teams to resolve technical inquiries and issues.
- Identify customer objectives, decision-making processes, and build long-term partnerships.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, and referrals.
- Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends.
- Participate in sales campaigns, promotions, events, and brand initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge
- Solid understanding of IT hardware and software.
- Knowledge of the New Zealand IT distribution market.
- Familiarity with ticketing system best practices.
Experience
- 1+ year of previous sales experience
or - 2+ years of previous sales support experience.
Skills
- Strong ability to engage with clients at all organizational levels.
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical concepts and align them with customer business goals.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- Industry certifications such as HPE, Microsoft, Dell, or similar are an advantage.
