Job Summary
The Industrial Automation Engineer role involves preparing project pricing and cost estimates, reviewing BOQs, and coordinating with teams during tendering for industrial automation projects in Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project pricing, cost estimates, and commercial offers
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for industrial automation projects
- Analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and project requirements
- Select appropriate PLC, SCADA, control, and automation components
- Obtain and assess supplier quotations
- Prepare technical and commercial proposal documentation
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during tendering
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in estimation, pricing, BOQ preparation, or proposals
- Good knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical documentation
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple quotations and tenders
