ICT & Digital Modernisation Expert

Job Summary

The ICT & Digital Modernisation Expert will provide technical assistance to support the enhancement of institutional IT systems, digital workflows, ICT infrastructure, secure communications, cybersecurity, and digital modernisation in public institutions as part of the EU-funded Egypt Downtown Facility project.

Responsibilities

• Support technical assistance assignments related to institutional IT systems and digital workflows.
• Assist in the modernisation of ICT infrastructure and secure communications.
• Contribute to cybersecurity improvements within public institutions.
• Prepare technical assessments and specifications for IT modernisation.
• Develop IT modernisation roadmaps.
• Support digital modernisation efforts in public administrations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in ICT, computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related field.
• English language proficiency at C1 level.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience assessing and modernising institutional IT systems and digital workflows.
• Experience preparing technical assessments, specifications, and IT modernisation roadmaps.
• Knowledge of secure communications, information systems, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Arabic language skills are desirable.
• Experience supporting digital modernisation within public administrations is desirable.
