Job Summary
A software engineering role focused on solving problems across the full stack. You will work across services, control planes, tooling and hardware interfaces, taking ownership of problems from conception to production.
Responsibilities
- Take problems from ambiguous definition through to shipped solution, determining the appropriate layer to solve at.
- Move across the technology stack including services, interfaces, data paths and underlying systems.
- Build tooling that reduces work for the broader team.
- Read and safely modify unfamiliar code quickly.
- Own shipped work including operational responsibility when it pages.
Must haves
- Three or more years of production software engineering experience.
- Fluency in at least one systems language and one high-level language.
- Demonstrated range of work across more than one technical layer.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions without waiting for clarity.
Nice to haves
- Infrastructure, Linux or distributed systems background.
- Open source contributions.
- Experience at a small company where you defined your own boundaries.
