Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power Sirbal’s PDPL compliance tools. Work across front-end and back-end components to implement features, integrate APIs, optimize performance, and ensure secure handling of user and organizational data.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and integrate APIs across front-end and back-end components
- Optimize application performance and ensure secure handling of user and organizational data
- Collaborate with product and design teams to refine requirements
- Review code for quality and maintainability
- Contribute to technical documentation and testing
- Participate in regular stand-ups and provide feedback on architecture decisions
- Help improve development processes
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development with experience delivering production-ready web applications
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database design and integration
- Solid Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS for responsive, accessible user interfaces
- Understanding of secure coding practices, data protection principles, and interest in privacy, compliance, or regulatory technology
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with clear communication skills and ability to collaborate in hybrid work environments
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
