Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

The Full Stack Developer at Vyltic in Amman works on building and supporting two main products: a player app and a SaaS platform for partner venues. The role involves both development and technical support within a small tech team.

Responsibilities

• Develop features from design or behavior descriptions using TypeScript, NestJS backend, and PostgreSQL.
• Write endpoints and database queries, and fix bugs by tracing root causes.
• Contribute to the Flutter app after initial months.
• Ensure all work goes through staging, testing, and review before release.
• Provide technical support to customer service, operations, and venue managers by diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical users.
• Be reachable outside office hours for releases or urgent problems.
• Collaborate as a junior member with senior team members reviewing work.

Requirements

• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with a modern front-end framework, preferably React.
• Understanding of REST APIs and experience writing one in Node.js.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and comfortable using Git.
• Fluency in Arabic and English for supporting users.
• Experience with Flutter, NestJS, PostgreSQL, or ORMs like TypeORM or Prisma is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build real projects is valued over formal degrees.
