Frontend Software Engineer – Saudi Only

Job Summary

This role at Lucidya involves developing and maintaining frontend web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, focusing on delivering high-quality user experiences with modern engineering practices including AI assistance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-ready web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components.
• Translate product requirements and designs into clean, responsive user interfaces.
• Integrate frontend with REST APIs and real-time communication services like WebSockets and Socket.IO.
• Work with event-driven flows connected to RabbitMQ and backend messaging systems.
• Manage server and client-side state efficiently using React Query / TanStack Query and Redux / Redux Toolkit.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright.
• Use AI tools to accelerate engineering tasks while maintaining quality and security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and React development.
• Good knowledge of TypeScript and type-safe development.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest and Playwright.
• Familiarity with real-time frontend architectures using WebSockets / Socket.IO and message queues like RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of common real-time challenges and frontend state management.
• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Practical use of AI tools to enhance software engineering productivity.
