Field Service Representative (FSR)

Job Summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks a Field Service Representative to provide on-wing technical support for Royal Jordanian and regional customers from the Amman office. The role combines technical expertise in aviation gas turbine engines with customer relationship management, requiring 24/7 accessibility and troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support for assigned customer engine groups, managing on-wing operational issues and customer concerns
• Deliver 24-hour comprehensive technical support and customer assistance with troubleshooting expertise
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers addressing technical and business concerns across all organizational levels
• Coordinate with Pratt & Whitney Hartford CFTs, Customer Technical Service (CTS), and internal colleagues to provide real-time fleet risk information
• Manage engine troubleshooting, warranty claims, spare parts and repairs, spare engine allocations, and MRO shop coordination
• Use Pratt & Whitney tools daily including Engine Wise Connect, EData+, and MS Dynamics
• Work collaboratively with other Field Representatives and internal departments to expedite customer issue resolution
• Represent Pratt & Whitney at key customer meetings and maintain professional communication with all customer staff levels

Must haves

• Associate’s degree in aviation-related field with minimum 7 years of experience with commercial/military aircraft engines and direct airline customer work, OR Bachelor’s degree in engineering or aviation-related field with minimum 5 years of such experience, OR Master’s degree with 3 years of such experience
• Demonstrated technical proficiency with jet engine technical data
• Experience in an external-facing role
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Jordanian national not requiring work authorization
• Ability to work 24/7 with minimal supervision and maintain accessibility for customer support

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with Airbus A320 aircraft manuals and OEM engine manuals
• Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbofan engine
• Part 147 aviation maintenance A&P license or similar aircraft engine mechanic experience
