ELV Pre Sales Engineer

Job Summary

This role supports sales by providing technical expertise, designing solutions, and assisting customers during the pre-sales phase for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Intrusion Detection, and Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and project specs to design and recommend ELV system solutions.
• Select suitable equipment and technologies, preparing system and block diagrams and technical drawings.
• Review tender documents, conduct feasibility studies, prepare BOQs, and develop technical proposals.
• Engage with consultants and clients by presenting solutions, responding to queries, and preparing technical submittals.
• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning, assist sales teams, and troubleshoot field issues.
• Review shop drawings and support handover and system testing documentation.
• Stay informed on ELV technologies, research competitors, and maintain relationships with manufacturers.
• Attend training, product launches, and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in ELV systems design, pre-sales, or technical support in KSA.
• Experience in tender preparation and bid management.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, Intrusion, and BMS systems.
• Strong knowledge of ELV design principles, installation practices, and relevant standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with major ELV brands like Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Honeywell, Siemens.
• Understanding of IP networking and IT infrastructure for smart systems.
• Ability to read architectural and MEP drawings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
