Electrical Site Engineer

Job Summary

ASALI Engineering Consulting & Project Management seeks an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to supervise electrical works on large-scale building projects. The role involves monitoring installation activities, coordinating with contractors and other disciplines, and ensuring all electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all electrical works and installations on site.
• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
• Verify that executed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical works with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other project disciplines.
• Conduct inspections and review contractors’ inspection requests.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Prepare site observations, technical reports, and progress updates.
• Support the project team throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and handover stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in site works and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, specifications, shop drawings, and technical coordination.
• Solid experience in site supervision, installation follow-up, testing, and commissioning.
• Good understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software.
• Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience in large-scale building projects is highly preferred.
• Previous experience with engineering consultancy or supervision projects is an advantage.
