Job Summary
This role involves designing, configuring, and supporting the Oracle Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) for both real-time online and offline charging processes.
Responsibilities
- Configure charging, rating, and balance management within ECE according to product specifications
- Integrate ECE with Oracle BRM, network elements such as Diameter Gy/Ro and CHF, and mediation systems
- Analyze charging requirements and convert them into configurations for ECE and pricing
- Support performance tuning, capacity planning, and manage cluster operations using Oracle Coherence
- Troubleshoot issues related to charging and rating and assist with production incident resolution
- Participate in testing phases, software releases, and system upgrades
- Document configurations, design details, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Practical experience with Oracle ECE and integration with Oracle BRM
- Knowledge of 3GPP charging standards including Diameter Gy/Ro and 5G CHF/Nchf
- Understanding of Oracle Coherence and basic Java concepts
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting
- Understanding of telecom prepaid and postpaid charging concepts
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting real-time charging flows
