Digital Solution Engineer

Job Summary

The Digital Solution Engineer installs, configures, administers, and maintains JODAYN solutions in customer environments. The role ensures deployed solutions remain secure, stable, available, and optimized while working closely with internal engineering teams and client IT teams to deliver successful implementations and resolve technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain JODAYN solutions in customer environments, including Linux-based servers running Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Perform application upgrades, patches, rollback procedures, and version management activities to ensure system availability and operational stability.
• Implement environment hardening, security best practices, and conduct preventive maintenance to improve service reliability.
• Troubleshoot system, application, and integration-related issues through structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and log examination.
• Develop scripts and automation tools using programming capabilities to streamline deployment, diagnostics, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, installation guides, operational procedures, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Support integration requirements through automation and operational tooling.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams and client IT teams to resolve technical challenges and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in system administration, application support, software deployment, or solution engineering.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in Linux-based environments.
• Experience working with customer-facing projects and support activities.
• Strong Linux administration skills and structured troubleshooting expertise.
• Programming and automation capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Python, Bash, or other scripting languages (preferred).
• Experience with application integrations and APIs (preferred).
• Knowledge of databases and SQL, especially PostgreSQL and MySQL (preferred).
