Job Summary
Join our professional services team as a software engineer delivering state-of-the-art solutions. This customer-facing role involves designing, implementing, and supporting application software from conception through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement application software architecture according to best practices
- Install, upgrade, and configure application software
- Support and maintain application software systems
- Monitor systems performance and troubleshoot issues
- Document application operational procedures and guides
- Present and deliver solutions to clients in a professional manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of operating systems including Linux and AIX
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, tools, and implementation
- Skills in containerization and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of RedHat OpenShift container platform
- Experience with databases, networks, and application software installation and configuration
- Experience with web and application servers
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Knowledge of IBM products
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Self-motivated with passion for learning new technologies
- Ability to work independently and within teams
