Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer will manage the GKE platform and handle GCP infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ensuring infrastructure is controlled, repeatable, and version-managed.
Responsibilities
- Operate GKE development and production clusters, including node pools, upgrades, scaling, capacity, and incident/change support
- Manage GCP provisioning with Terraform, maintaining version-controlled code, deployment workflows, drift management, and rollback readiness
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code standards, module libraries, and documentation to ensure changes are auditable and transferable
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code issues to support platform reliability, security, and performance
Requirements
- 3+ years of practical experience with GKE and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes operations and Terraform provisioning on GCP
- Kubernetes and/or Terraform certification is preferred (e.g., CKA, HashiCorp Terraform Associate)
- Ability to collaborate effectively to prevent single-person dependency on this capability
