DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to modernize the development environment and guide the development team toward DevOps practices. Work with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and managed services to enhance deployment processes and system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for the organization.
• Design and develop Infrastructure as Code scripts.
• Participate in team design discussions and contribute to microservices connectivity design and development.
• Oversee, monitor and manage Kubernetes clusters for optimal performance and resource usage.
• Manage ELK stack, MongoDB, Redis, RDBMS and other databases.
• Monitor cloud resources and applications to ensure performance, availability, and security.
• Manage incidents from logging to resolution and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to provide training on DevOps tools and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud deployment and CI/CD pipeline setup.
• Expert proficiency with Docker containers and Kubernetes Orchestration.
• Expert knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
• Expert experience with managed services such as Google Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Run, and Google Cloud SQL (AWS equivalent acceptable).
• Well versed with Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Experience with microservices using Spring Cloud.
• Ability to work in agile environments with changing requirements.
• Ability to implement cost reduction measures for cloud infrastructure without compromising performance or reliability.
• Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with emerging technology trends.
