Job Summary
Lead and oversee all technical aspects related to wooden joinery products, including design development, shop drawings, engineering standards, manufacturability, material optimization, quality compliance, and project execution from concept to installation.
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical office handling shop drawings, production drawings, and material specifications.
- Review and approve technical submittals, design details, and construction drawings ensuring compliance with project and client requirements.
- Develop technical standards for joinery manufacturing and installation.
- Supervise preparation of detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar software.
- Coordinate design development with architects, consultants, and clients, resolving design conflicts before production.
- Translate project requirements into production-ready manufacturing packages and support CNC programming and automated manufacturing.
- Provide technical support to production and installation teams, resolving manufacturing and site installation challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing new joinery technologies, improving engineering processes, and promoting cost reduction and productivity initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience.
- Skills in Technical Research, Leadership, Resource Management, Communication, and Engineering Design.
