Delivery/Integration Engineer

Job Summary

Install, configure, and integrate Thales products within customer environments in Saudi Arabia. This customer-facing role involves working directly at customer premises through presales, deployment, acceptance, handover, and post-deployment support phases, coordinating with technical, operations, security, and network teams.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure solutions on physical hardware or virtualized environments at customer premises, respecting site rules, access procedures, and security policies
• Validate site readiness before installation, including access, infrastructure prerequisites, network connectivity, certificates, credentials, and customer dependencies
• Integrate solutions with customer backend systems and core network elements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to deployment, integration, troubleshooting, and handover
• Create and maintain customer acceptance test plans and execute testing with customer stakeholders
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager on work progress, risks, and estimated completion times
• Coordinate daily with customer technical, network, security, and operations teams during deployment and acceptance phases
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and support customer go-live activities and post-deployment stabilization

Must haves

• Saudi Arabian citizenship is mandatory due to customer and local project requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered
• Advanced Linux/Unix experience with at least 3 years of hands-on usage, including strong knowledge of standard Linux administration and troubleshooting commands
• Ability to read, understand, and maintain shell scripts; able to work independently in at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Perl
• Good understanding of IPv4 networking concepts including subnetting, broadcast, default gateway, routing, and static route configuration
• At least 3–4 years of experience in systems administration, solution delivery, integration engineering, DevOps engineering, or software support
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Willing and able to travel and work on customer premises in Saudi Arabia according to project needs

Nice to haves

• Arabic language skills are strongly preferred for customer-facing work in Saudi Arabia
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably GCP, and microservices-based architectures
• Understanding of Apache virtual hosts, basic proxy configuration, and SSL certificate configuration
