Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualizations and dashboards using Google Cloud Platform tools, primarily Looker and Looker Studio, to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Support conversational AI initiatives and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Design and build dashboards and data visualizations using Looker, Looker Studio, and Tableau
- Develop and maintain LookML models, explores, and views to support scalable data architecture
- Integrate Looker with GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and IAM for secure and efficient data access
- Support conversational AI experiences using Looker’s embedded analytics and natural language querying capabilities
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to define KPIs and ensure consistent metric definitions
- Optimize dashboard performance and usability across platforms
- Maintain documentation and version control of visualization assets
- Participate in agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in data visualization and analytics with demonstrable expertise in Looker and GCP
- Advanced proficiency in Looker and LookML
- Strong SQL skills and experience with BigQuery
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, IAM, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub
- Familiarity with Tableau and basic understanding of Power BI
- Experience with secure data access protocols
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently and in agile teams
