Data Scientist (AI & Advanced Analytics)

Job Summary

The Data Scientist (AI & Advanced Analytics) will design, develop, and implement AI, Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics solutions to address business challenges in the banking and financial services sector. The role involves analyzing diverse data types, building scalable AI models, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Create, deploy, and maintain AI and Machine Learning models tailored to business needs.
• Interpret structured and unstructured data to produce actionable business insights.
• Work alongside business and technology teams to identify problems and provide data-driven solutions.
• Develop and manage data pipelines, feature engineering, and model monitoring systems.
• Deliver predictive analytics for customer, risk, and operational insights.
• Implement initiatives involving Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, and advanced analytics.
• Evaluate large datasets and translate results into business recommendations.
• Oversee model performance, scalability, accuracy, and reliability, applying improvements as needed.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related areas.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Statistical Modeling.
• Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or Scikit-learn.
• Expertise in Predictive Analytics and advanced data solutions.
• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry is mandatory.
• Knowledge of AI governance, model risk management, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
• Experience building and deploying scalable AI/ML models and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to convert complex data findings into clear business recommendations.
• Arabic language proficiency is required.
