Data Analytics Senior Specialist

Job Summary

This role focuses on advancing the use of advanced analytics within Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) by developing analytical solutions, managing analytics products, and collaborating with various departments to enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Promote the adoption of advanced analytics by identifying use cases and tools to improve operations.
• Review and improve the existing advanced analytics portfolio and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of analytics solutions across business units.
• Organize educational sessions to increase awareness of advanced analytics within ZATCA.
• Develop proof-of-concept analytical models and complex solutions using machine learning or deep learning techniques.
• Define requirements, BRDs, and SLAs for analytics products and translate them into actionable tasks.
• Manage communication and alignment with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
• Support junior staff through training, task delegation, and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Data Analytics, Data Management Planning and Design, and Data Processing.
• Developing skills in IT Compliance, Policy Making, Database Design and Operations, Professionalism, Collaboration and Communication, Results Oriented, Customer Focus, and Enablement of Change and Innovation.
