Containerization Platform Engineer

Job Summary

The Containerization Platform Engineer at Müller’s Solutions is responsible for supporting and managing containerized applications and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring security, automation, and performance monitoring for continuous and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply security best practices including image security, network security, and access control, and conduct security assessments.
• Support deployment and configuration of container platforms, providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to containerized applications and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Monitor container performance and resource usage, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing resource allocation.
• Develop automation scripts and tools for environment management, application deployment, and scaling.
• Collaborate with development and Level 2 support teams to address infrastructure challenges and enhance container environments.
• Document processes, architecture, and create knowledge base materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
• 1-2 years of direct experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Systems Engineering roles preferred.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience collaborating with L2 teams for infrastructure support.
