Consulting AI Architect – Utilities

Job Summary

As an AI Consultant focused on the Oil & Gas and Utilities sector across the Middle East and Africa, you will work with clients to identify, shape, and accelerate AI transformation opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, defining value-driven AI initiatives and developing strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Engage senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and define AI transformation initiatives
• Develop AI strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineering teams, delivery teams, sellers, and ecosystem partners to convert client challenges into practical AI solutions
• Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to shape AI opportunities
• Develop business cases, proposals, ROI models, and proof-of-concept plans
• Support presales activities including opportunity qualification, solution shaping, and executive stakeholder engagement
• Help shape regional market demand and contribute to the evolution of AI offerings
• Bring insights from client conversations back into the business to strengthen go-to-market approach

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, business transformation, AI, data, analytics, or related client-facing roles
• Experience shaping or delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
• Strong experience working with clients in the Oil & Gas and Utilities sector across the Middle East and Africa
• Proven ability to develop AI strategies, operating models, transformation roadmaps, value cases, and executive-level business narratives
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI concepts including large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), data readiness, governance, responsible AI, and adoption considerations
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and structured problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with leading cloud and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the region
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Willingness to travel across the Middle East and Africa as required
