Job Summary

Deloitte seeks a Consultant or Senior Consultant to support clients in building and maintaining technology resilience capabilities. The role involves assessing IT infrastructure, developing resilience strategies, and translating technical risks into business impact for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Technology Impact Analysis (TIA) and similar exercises to identify critical IT dependencies
• Support the development and execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and resilience testing activities
• Develop, execute, and maintain runbooks for technology resilience processes
• Evaluate data centres, hybrid/cloud infrastructure, and application landscapes through a resilience perspective
• Translate technical risks into business impact terms for non-technical stakeholders
• Develop or support resilience strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans for enterprise clients
• Advise on regulatory expectations around technology resilience in sectors such as financial services, energy, or government

Must haves

• Strong understanding of technology resilience concepts, including recovery architecture, IT continuity, backup strategies, and failover design
• Demonstrated experience conducting Technology Impact Analysis (TIA) or similar exercises to assess critical IT dependencies
• Hands-on experience running or actively participating in Disaster Recovery (DR) drills
• Proficiency in developing, executing and maintaining runbooks
• Ability to evaluate data centres, hybrid/cloud infrastructure, and application landscapes through a resilience lens
• Ability to translate technical risks into business impact terms and communicate recommendations to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with business continuity, crisis management, or operational resilience frameworks beyond IT-specific areas
• Experience supporting or running tabletop exercises, technical simulations, or chaos engineering experiments
• Knowledge of cloud resilience architectures such as multi-AZ/multi-region failover, backup/restore in AWS/Azure/GCP
• Professional certifications such as ISO 22301 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CBCI, AWS/Azure cloud certs, or DORA/operational resilience credentials
