Job Summary
Red Hat Consulting seeks a Cloud Architect with strong OpenShift experience to serve as a subject-matter expert in infrastructure and cloud technology. You will lead on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat solutions, advising customers on best practices in automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, analysis and design workshops to shape customer architecture decisions aligned with Red Hat solutions
- Guide consulting teams through customer pilot and production deployments, workload onboarding and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with product business units, engineering, consulting, support and sales to deliver world-class customer experience
- Develop repeatable methodologies and tools to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities and reduce delivery risk
- Build customer confidence through successful delivery of consulting engagements
Must haves
- Prior experience in consulting and architecture roles
- Strong customer-facing skills with ability to present and lead customer interactions
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies at hands-on delivery and architecture levels
- Experience implementing virtualization and container technologies in enterprise settings with enterprise-wide deployments
- Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience onboarding applications and teams onto cloud or container platforms with DevOps and continuous delivery practices
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Willingness to travel across the region up to 100%
