Clinical Solution Specialist – Patient Monitoring

Job Summary

As Clinical Solution Specialist for Patient Monitoring Systems, you will serve as the clinical voice for Nihon Kohden’s monitoring portfolio across the Middle East and Africa region. You will train end-users, lead installations, support sales, and shape how patient monitoring solutions are positioned in the market.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and application training to nurses, physicians, biomedical engineers, distributor teams and sales colleagues from initial demonstration through post-installation optimization.
• Lead the clinical aspects of installations and go-lives by assessing workflows, defining configuration requirements, training clinical teams and supporting first patient use.
• Conduct product workshops, proof-of-concept evaluations and clinical demonstrations across the territory.
• Build certified product champions within distributor accounts through structured e-learning and hands-on training.
• Track market developments including competitors, pricing, tenders and clinical practice, and develop strategy and action plans with the Sales team.
• Own regional product launches including positioning, launch materials, selling tools, campaigns and team readiness.
• Support the sales funnel with clinical presentations, technical and tender input, and value-based solution design for key accounts.
• Create digital content for patient monitoring solutions and represent Nihon Kohden at congresses such as Arab Health, Africa Health and MEDICA.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or a clinical, biomedical or life sciences degree with hands-on patient monitoring experience.
• 3–5 years in a critical care setting (ICU, CCU, CVICU, ER, OR, NICU or PICU) using multi-parameter monitoring daily, or equivalent experience as a clinical application or product specialist with a monitoring manufacturer or distributor.
• Working knowledge of haemodynamics and ECG rhythm interpretation with confidence to discuss both with intensivists and nursing leadership.
• Ability to teach and make complex technology straightforward to clinicians.
• Fluent English, excellent presentation skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Readiness to travel approximately 50% of the time with strong organization and self-motivation; valid driving licence and passport allowing unrestricted regional travel.

Nice to haves

• Active nursing registration with SCFHS classification.
• Arabic language skills in addition to English.
• Previous experience in clinical education, adult training or as an application specialist in the medical device industry.
• Familiarity with central monitoring, clinical informatics, HL7 or EMR integration; understanding of GCC tender processes and hospital capital purchasing; transferable Iqama if already in the Kingdom.
