Capabilities & Insights Analytics Analyst – Healthcare

Job Summary

Join McKinsey’s consulting teams as a Capabilities & Insights Analytics Analyst focused on healthcare. You will conduct quantitative analyses and develop AI/ML solutions for healthcare clients, working with large datasets and building data-driven platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model large healthcare datasets, particularly for public bodies, health insurance companies, and providers
• Develop dashboards and ML/AI models using low-code/no-code tools, Python, and visualization platforms
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build and maintain proprietary platforms and solutions
• Work with Knowledge and Insights experts and consulting teams to prepare and execute client engagements
• Contribute to building healthcare assets and knowledge that drive the firm’s proprietary innovation portfolio
• Manage project work and communicate with diverse stakeholders across healthcare sectors

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, data analytics, data science, or related field, ideally combined with biostatistics, bioinformatics, or epidemiology
• 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant field such as Data Analyst, Data Scientist, BI, or consulting
• Proficiency in Python and/or R programming
• Experience with machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly
• Familiarity with SQL and data querying from relational databases or cloud-based environments
• Understanding of electronic health record structures, clinical terminologies (ICD, CPT, SNOMED), and health data standards such as HL7 and FHIR
• Strong problem-solving skills in analytical and quantitative areas
• Entrepreneurial mindset with motivation to continuously improve and drive improvements independently
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
• Willingness and ability to travel to client and McKinsey locations within and outside the country
• Ability to work collaboratively with people at all organizational levels
