Business Intelligence Section Head

Job Summary

Lead the Business Intelligence function by delivering reliable, actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. Manage BI platforms, data warehousing, analytics solutions, reporting frameworks, and data governance practices within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Business Intelligence roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and digital transformation objectives.
• Design, enhance, and optimize enterprise data warehouse architecture and analytical data models.
• Establish and maintain enterprise dashboards, performance scorecards, and standardized reporting methodologies.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, definitions, ownership models, and quality controls.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify analytical needs and support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead, coach, and develop Business Intelligence team members and establish departmental objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and manage the Business Intelligence section budget and optimize utilization of systems and resources.
• Evaluate emerging BI technologies and recommend enhancements that support organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Experience within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, FMCG, or highly regulated industries is preferred.
