Business Analyst

Job Summary

This role involves gathering and documenting requirements from banking and finance clients, creating business requirement documents and user stories, and supporting clients through testing phases. The analyst also collaborates with data science teams and manages process mapping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements from banking and finance clients into clear BRDs and user stories.
• Map and model current and future business processes (As Is and To Be).
• Develop business rules and decision matrices for credit strategies suitable for platform configuration.
• Create acceptance test cases and assist clients during UAT until final approval.
• Collaborate with data science teams to translate model outputs into functional requirements and dashboards.
• Prepare status reports, meeting minutes, and document scope decisions and change requests.
• Conduct client workshops and present solutions to their business teams.

Must haves

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of practical business analysis experience, preferably in banking, finance, or related technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of the credit lifecycle including application, verification, decisioning, monitoring, delinquency, and collections.
• Ability to write client-facing requirements documents in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data verification.
• Advanced skills in Excel and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or equivalents.

Nice to haves

• Experience with credit decisioning platforms, loan origination, or collections systems.
• Familiarity with SIMAH reports and credit bureau products.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
