Job Summary
Provide deep technical expertise to support the design and implementation of automation and AIOps frameworks. Develop detailed specifications, validate system readiness for launch, and oversee the technical function post-deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed automation specifications covering fault detection, event correlation, ticket creation, and remediation workflows by domain.
- Create AIOps technical specifications including anomaly detection model requirements, training data specifications, and QoS degradation prediction use cases.
- Define technical integration requirements between AIOps, NMS, SIEM, ITSM, IT monitoring, and OSS/BSS systems.
- Develop automation governance documentation including change control procedures, testing frameworks, and rollback requirements.
- Support skills requirements definition, training content development, and participate in automation and AIOps validation testing.
- Define KPI measurement methodology for automation effectiveness, including data sources, calculation logic, and reporting configuration.
- Review MSP automation workflow changes and validate technical accuracy and regression impact.
- Assess AIOps model performance including false positive rates, detection accuracy, and prediction lead times.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network operations, automation engineering, or AI/ML application to operations.
- Technical expertise in AIOps platforms, automation tools, and network analytics.
- Experience developing automation specifications and AI/ML model requirements for NOC or SOC environments.
- Knowledge of integration patterns between AIOps, NMS, SIEM, and OSS/BSS.
- Deep technical knowledge of network automation, AIOps platforms, and AI/ML for operations.
- Ability to develop detailed automation and AIOps technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Experience in a wholesale or carrier environment is advantageous.
