Associate / Principal Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

This role involves leading mechanical design and technical delivery for major multidisciplinary projects in the Middle East, based in Riyadh, KSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and technical delivery activities.
• Develop and review mechanical designs for projects.
• Coordinate mechanical services with other disciplines to ensure robust and compliant solutions.
• Lead design activities from concept through detailed design and tender stages.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of mechanical engineering design experience.
• Consultancy experience on medium to large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, heating, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Experience preparing and reviewing design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submissions.
• Minimum 5 years of design experience in the Middle East, preferably Saudi/GCC projects.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of relevant international standards, codes, and Middle East regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and mechanical design/calculation software.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional registration or chartership is advantageous.
