Associate AI Quality Engineer

Job Summary

The Associate AI Quality Engineer will develop internal AI systems to support engineering workflows, including test generation, failure triage, and evaluation infrastructure for AI features. This role involves writing production code, owning CI systems, and ensuring adoption by engineers.

Responsibilities

• Automate testing across backend APIs, frontend web and mobile platforms, including performance and load testing.
• Develop AI-driven test generation and maintenance solutions from specs, code, and production data.
• Implement failure triage systems to classify build failures before human review.
• Create self-healing locators and tools for suite health monitoring and flake detection.
• Build evaluation infrastructure for AI features, including datasets, scoring, and regression detection tailored to Arabic and English contexts.
• Develop agentic AI that autonomously manages quality workflows, including exploratory testing and release risk assessment.
• Design orchestration systems for multi-step AI planning, tool use, retries, and multi-agent coordination integrated with existing CI and observability tools.
• Maintain technical expertise in test automation frameworks, agentic AI orchestration, context engineering, evaluation methods, reliability, and operations for LLM systems.

Requirements

• Experience shipping production software with recent hands-on work on LLM-backed systems used by real users.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with at least one of .NET, Java, or TypeScript.
• Proven depth in automation across multiple platforms, owning release-gating test suites for backend and UI.
• Experience building evaluation systems with measurable improvements.
• Practical knowledge of modern LLM tools including prompting, structured output, tool use, retrieval, and agentic AI orchestration.
• Solid fundamentals in test design, automation frameworks, and CI/CD processes.
• Focus on adoption and usability of delivered solutions by engineering teams.
