Job Summary
A technical GIS professional role focused on deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure. The position involves working with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of geospatial operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise components including Portal, Server, Data Store, and Web Adaptor for optimal performance and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to publishing, services, Single Sign-On (SSO), certificates, networking, and system performance
- Collaborate with IT professionals to manage server configurations, networks, firewall settings, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and cloud infrastructure
- Support GIS application development workflows including REST APIs, web maps, custom applications, and integrations
- Manage user support tickets, maintain documentation, and oversee operational monitoring for the GIS platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or GIS
- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise architecture
- Good understanding of Windows Server, networking, and API basics
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across GIS, IT, and application layers
- Good communication and documentation skills
