Job Summary
The Application Developer at RS2 is responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality software solutions for leading financial institutions globally, working under the Senior Software Development Manager within the Technical Unit.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to develop and sustain advanced software solutions.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, maintenance, and quality assurance.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and internal teams to implement client requirements.
- Keep updated with the latest developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks ensuring timely and quality completion.
- Operate independently and as part of diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Adapt to changing project priorities with agility.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive multicultural workplace and accept additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in ICT or related qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient with Git, Maven, Jenkins, XML, JSON, and JQuery.
- Experience in microservices architecture and implementation.
- Strong hands-on skills in Java, Spring, RESTful web services, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, and Vue.js or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of User Experience (UX) analysis and design principles.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve browser-specific issues.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, preferably Oracle.
- Commitment to high-quality software programming and thorough unit testing.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and English communication skills.
