Job Summary
The Android Developer will create and maintain secure, scalable native Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent mobile user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin.
- Implement features according to UI/UX designs and business needs.
- Write clean, testable code using modern architectures like MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Engage in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
- Identify and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues across devices and OS versions.
- Ensure app security and data protection.
- Manage app releases and publishing through Google Play Console.
Must haves
- 3–6 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong Kotlin skills; Java knowledge is beneficial.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
- Knowledge of Android Jetpack components including ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager.
- Experience with Coroutines and Flow.
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt, Dagger, or Koin.
Nice to haves
- Experience in mobile banking or fintech app development.
- Understanding of mobile security features like Keystore, certificate pinning, biometric authentication, root detection, ProGuard/R8 obfuscation, and Play Integrity API.
- Familiarity with payment, KYC/eKYC, OTP/2FA flows, and regulatory standards like PCI DSS and OWASP MASVS.
- Experience with push notifications (FCM), deep linking, analytics, and crash reporting tools such as Firebase and Crashlytics.
